Dental Insurance Information
At the Dental Station, your complete satisfaction is our goal and that includes providing you with exceptional customer service. One way we do that is by working with your dental insurance to ensure you receive the maximum allowable benefits for any dental procedure you have in our office. Dr. Winarick and the team at Dental Station will be happy to serve you whether we are in-network or out-of-network with your insurance.
Dental Insurances We Accept
Dental Station is an in-network provider with the following insurance companies:
We also accept the QCD dental plan, and we will file for any PPO plan whether we are an in-network or out-of-network provider.
In-Network vs. Out-of-Network
If Waco dentist Dr. Winarick is an in-network provider on your dental insurance plan, then that means our office has set a pre-negotiated fee for the different types of dental services we provide. You will only need to satisfy your deductible and make an established co-payment.
However, if we are out-of-network, then there is no pre-negotiated rate and there may be a difference between our fee and the allowable fee set by your dental insurance. You are responsible for paying this difference. However, because these fees are based on what is fair and reasonable for our area of the country, chances are the difference will be negligible.
Dental Insurance Fundamentals
Anyone in our front office will be happy to answer any questions you have about dental insurance generally or your plan specifically. However, there are some fundamentals that apply to almost all dental insurance plans.
First of all, dental insurance benefits expire at the end of a calendar year. Insurance companies do this intentionally to encourage subscribers to use all of their benefits. Like dentistry itself, dental insurance is designed to help prevent dental problems. Just like Dr. Winarick and her team, your insurance wants you to schedule regular preventive checkups. These appointments allow us to spot problems such as cavities, gum disease or tooth infection early when they can be treated more easily.
